This picture is too funny. This is an exhibition hall in South korea. Watching kids being amazed and experiencing first hand - the sheer joy- of simple things reminds me of what it was like to be a kid. Hey we have all been there..and it's just a memorable moment when kids learn at first hand. So one of my behavioral kid did the impossible- slapped another kid's face. I punished him by putting him in the corner. Usually, he resist and produce fake tears. But yesterday was different. He was sobbing, and his body cringed in the corner with his head and eyes lowered. He looked so ashamed. It really broke my heart to see this. After one minute I came up to him and reinforced that it was an inapprorpiate behavior. He nodded, cried with snots dipping down and hugged me as he said sorry. As he hugged me a huge wave of trust and love for this kid came over. Man, at that moment, I felt like a mom.
